About Our Prices —
We offer very competitive prices, and most of our boxes are discounted below the full retail price. We do honor the request of the makers who ask that their boxes not be discounted:
Sales Tax —
There is no sales tax charged for shipping outside of Washington State.
The appropriate WA State sales tax is charged for items sent to addresses within the state of Washington, even if purchased from a customer out of state. .The WA sales tax rate varies among the State's counties and cities. In 2008 the WA Department of Revenue began requiring that the sales tax rate will be that of the combined state/local rate in effect at the recipient's Washington location.
We realize that our customers are eager to receive their new Limoges box, and for that reason we ship DAILY. Your purchase will be sent promptly on the next business day following receipt of payment except for payment by check which must clear before items are sent: United States Shipments Boxes to addresses within the continental US are normally shipped insured via UPS Ground. You can find the number of UPS Ground shipping days for your city by checking our UPS Zone Map. Upgrades to UPS Second Day or Three Day Select are available at customer's expense.
USPS Priority Mail is utilized for all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii or to post office boxes. USPS Express Mail is used when next day or weekend delivery is required.
The US Postal Service is used for all international shipments. The cost of insured international shipping varies according to the destination country and the speed of delivery desired. We will provide international customers with the available shipping options and the estimated delivery time and cost of each.
Insured US shipping is a flat rate of $8.00 per shipment for a single Limoges box with the following exception: Shipping is FREE within the US for all orders of more than one Limoges box ordered at the same time.
International shipping costs will be calculated based on the actual cost of insured shipping to the destination country.
We will use the shipping method that is most economical in meeting the delivery time required for the customer. If you wish upgraded shipping for rush delivery, please call or email us with your desired delivery date. We will promptly get back to you with the options available, and the additional cost of each.
Our Customer Satisfaction Pledge —
It is important to us that our customers are pleased with their purchase, and we take pride in both the quality of our product and the level of our customer service. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your Limoges box, we will issue your choice of an exchange or a refund, minus shipping charges, when you have done the following:
-- Contact us by email within thirty days of receipt of the Limoges box.
-- Carefully repackage the item, in the same condition in which it was received, in its original packaging and protective material.
-- Return the package following the directions that we will communicate to you.
-- Once the item has been returned in good condition we will provide the exchange or refund as you choose. Refunds will be made using the same means used for the original payment.
Damage in Shipping —
We inspect all items carefully prior to shipping, and package them with great care. Still, very occasionally, damage may occur in shipping, and for this reason, all boxes are sent insured. Please notify us immediately, and no later than five days of receipt, of any damage to your Limoges box, and retain the shipping container and all packing material which the carrier may wish to inspect. We will promptly respond with directions for returning your package.
Procedures for returning will vary depending on the shipping method that was used. It is very important that all procedures established by the carrier be followed. Once the damaged box has been received by us we will, at your discretion, offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund. Refund will be made using the same means as your original payment.
