Artoria Limoges boxes are are found throughout our collection, and are represented in nearly every category. We think that every serious Limoges box collection should include pieces selected from Artoria’s wonderful collection.

It is with good reason that we offer such an extensive selection from Artoria: Their boxes are beautifully and imaginatively sculpted, hand painted and hinged. They are highly detailed, using many of the same techniques that have been used by Limoges artisans for centuries to decorate their famous porcelain.         

Artoria Limoges is a family-owned porcelain business located on the banks of the Vienne River in the city of Limoges, France and is the leading manufacturer of Limoges porcelain giftware. For several generations Artoria has been producing some of the most beautiful and treasured porcelain artifacts in the region, and continues to add hundreds of new pieces to its line each year.

Artoria's Limoges boxes are not merely beautiful collectibles, but they also share a long, rich tradition and history that dates to 18th Century France where these boxes first appeared as snuff boxes.

Each box is initialed and numbered by the artist with the Artoria decorating mark, and comes in their classic gift box with certificate of authenticity.

Most of Artoria's boxes are part of a limited edition series. After a piece is retired, the molds will be destroyed forever and the piece becomes a part of Limoges history, increasing its value for collectors.
