Our classic shaped Limoges box commemorating the gift of the Magi is astonishingly beautiful. The top of the box is hand painted with the Three wiseman or magi, progressing toward the Nativity manger, with the Christmas star guiding them overhead. The oval is edged with a lovely band of gold. More gold decor and colored crystals accent the sides of the box. Inside are four hand painted porcelain figurines - the infant Jesus in the straw of the manger, and the three magi bearing their gifts. The floor is painted with straw, and the words Merry Christmas are painted on the inner surface of the lid. Exquisite in every way from an outstanding Limoges painter.
