This elegant hand painted Limoges box presents the Christmas story of the Nativity on a classic oval shape. The top is painted with the Holy Family within a border of gold. The adoration of the magi is painted on the lower front, and the sandy hills of their journey by camel are on the back. A green and deep red crystal embellish the sides. Inside, a removable figure of Jesus in the manger has been placed upon a floor painted with straw. An extraordinary and lovely Nativity Limoges box.
